Many customers are cancelling/rescheduling due to illness. There is currently an uptick in Covid, colds, strep, and flu. Let me know asap that you are sick, and we will reschedule! Prevent spreading illness by staying home. Rest is one of the best medicines. If you find yourself needing to go out, please wear a mask and use hand sanitizer to keep others safe. It’s good to be 24 hours fever free before having contact with others.
Being home sick is boring! It’s also a good time to catch up on sleep and self care. If you’ve seen a doctor be sure to follow all instructions prescribed for optimal healing.
Here are some things I like to add to my healing days when I’m sick.
Don’t forget the rule of purchasing through my affiliateship. You must complete your purchase within 24 hours of placing an item in your cart. Otherwise I don’t get credit for endorsing it. I only suggest products I use and love!
Hot baths with Epsom salts.
I tend to get a lot of body aches if I’m feverish, so this is always my first course of action. Fill your bath with comfortably hot water and add 4-6 cups of Epsom salts. Soak for at least 20 minutes.
Sore throat?
I love throat coating teas with local honey and lemon. These two are my go to teas.
Need a boost?
Try something with immune building ingredients.
Trace Minerals Power Packs (recommended to me by Dr. Amy LaRue)

Hot Cocoa
Matcha Latte
No appetite? Try a protein drink to keep up your strength. This is my absolute favorite protein powder!
Lastly if you want something to keep on hand for when you’re getting “that feeling,” here’s an easy way to make Elderberry syrup. (It’s also great in cocktails.)
